You are looking at the back side of the Kentucky state Capitol building. This is what I see as I walk from the Capitol Annex to the capitol each day during the legislative session. January 2, 2007 begins this years legislative session. It is time that we pray for the wisdom of those we have elected to serve us and to do the business of the people of Kentucky. The session will run through March 27, 2007.
I begin my 25Th year in the Chaplain Ministry with the
beginning of this legislative session. On Wednesday January 3rd we will have our first prayer breakfast for this session. Pray for our legislators as they seek God's wisdom as they do their work. If you would like to leave a message for you legislator you can call the Legislative message line at 1-800-372-7181 and let your Kentucky State Senator or Kentucky State Representative know how you feel about an issue or ask them a question about current issues. They will get your message and give you a reply.
I will be sharing prayer request from time to time as the session progresses.
