June 24Th we had a great God & Country Day with Pastor Ricky Clark and the folks at Maranatha Baptist Church. Maranatha Baptist Church sits across the street from Fort Campbell on State line Road. The church is in Kentucky but when you cross the street you are in Tennessee. So we had two states represented in the service. The picture to the upper left is most of the officials that were in the service. Pastor Clark is pictured in the pulpit giving a word of encouragement. We had the traditional dinner on the grounds after the service. Pastor Clark is doing a great job. He served in the military himself and retired. He knows what his people are going through. He has a heart for folks to get saved and to serve the Lord.
On Father's Day night, June 17Th, I had the joy of preaching the graduation service of Matthew Waltz and Shasta Cornett. The service was at Northern Kentucky Baptist Church. I have known Shasta all her life. I prayer over her mother and father that God would give them this child. I had the privilege of baptizing her after she was saved and now she says she is waiting for me to have her marriage service when God sends a godly young man her way.
