It has been over seven weeks since I have up-dated this page and I want to ask your forgiveness. If you get our newsletter you know we have had a busy schedule. I would like to bring you up-to-date with some pictures and let you know some of the places and meeting we have been. On April 29Th we were with Pastor Billy Vincent and the folks at Friendship Baptist church in Greenville, KY. It was Bro. Billy's birthday and they gave him a nice present (cash). Again we had good services and it was good to be with the people of this faithful supporting church.

On May 6Th we were in Lexington, KY holding a God & Country meeting with Pastor Kevin Hearn at Faith Baptist Church. The picture to the far left is the Lexington Police Chief, me in the center and Senator Tom Buford to the right of me. Pastor Hearn - pictured in the pulpit with his new born baby only a week old at the time. Pastor Hearn is doing a great job growing a work for the lord.
Mother's Day was spent with our daughter for the morning service at Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church in Danville, KY. That is where our son-in-law is pastor. the picture to the left is Saundra holding our youngest grandchild, Emily who is now about nine months old. The best way I can picture Saundra as a mother is to show her as a grandmother. I true believe that this is her true calling in life. She loves being MeMe (that is what all the grandchildren call her.
Mother's Day evening we were in Lebanon, Ohio for the "Bread of Life Camp Meeting" May 13 - 17, 2007. Fellowship Baptist Church of Lebanon, Ohio sponsors the camp meeting as a part of their ministry in the Fellowship Tract League. I preached the opening message on Monday morning. We had a great week and the work of printing tracts is going well. We have been at this camp meeting for over 20 years. Pray for the work at Fellowship Tract League and that souls will be reached around the world.

On Sunday May 20Th we were with Pastor Jeff Edwards in the Sunday morning service at Pine Grove Community Church. They have supported the work for several years. On Sunday afternoon we had a community God & country service at city hall in Liberty, KY. We had a number of officials and a real good turnout and great weather. I got to preach under the gazebo and everyone else had to sit in the hot sun. They all thought I had a real hot sermon. I wonder what they meant?

May 22ND was Primary Election Day, so Saundra and I took our voting position. It is a sad testimony but only 20% of the eligible voters voted in the primary election. How can we say we want America to come back to God if we are not willing to do what we can to make a difference.
On Sunday, May 27Th Saundra and I were with the folks at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Lexington, KY for a God & Country Day. Pastor Dewayne Walker has lead this church in a mighty soul-winning direction. He likes to remind me that I preached to his college class at Hyles-Anderson College when he was a student. He has a daughter attending there now. That really makes me feel old. It is a joy to serve with faithful men who stand by the stuff. He pastors and teaches at Commonwealth Bible College.
June 3, 2007 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Ashland, KY we had a great God & Country Day with Pastor Tommy Miles and the people at Crossroads Baptist Church. Pastor Miles has been there about three years and really has a vision for the work. The first picture is Pastor Miles in the pulpit and the second picture is of the officials after they had been recognized for their work and service.
Pastor William Davis is in the center of the picture to the right. He is pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Richmond, KY. On Sunday June 10Th we had a God & Country Service. I am in the pulpit reading the certificate for the Sheriff of the county. He gave his testimony and shared the Gospel with everyone in the service. Pastor Davis graduated from Commonwealth Bible College and became pastor of faith Baptist Church just two years ago. He was top in his class and is a real church builder already. Pray for the work there and God's Blessings of many souls saved.
Harmony, PA - We left Faith Baptist Church in Richmond, KY and headed for First Bible Baptist Church in Harmony, PA. Pastor David Smith invited me to preach in their annual tent meeting. They have had the tent meeting for the last six years. He had about fifteen different preachers and it was a great time of preaching and fellowship. My aunt Faye Hamilton is a member of this church. My mother and another sister decided to come up to the meeting for the week. So the picture to the right is from left to right - Saundra, Bro. Joe, my mother Charlene Linker, My aunt Faye Hamilton and my aunt Martha Vaught. It was like a homecoming revival for me.I hope I never get this far behind on this up-date page again. We thank you for your prayers and support of this work. May God bless you richly!
